Dial-a-doula
Support for every stage of Motherhood.
A viritual doula in your pocket to help you navigate pregnancy, birth and beyond with calm, clairty and care - because Motherhood isn’t meant to be done alone.
Birth Coaching
-
Birth coaching is a personalised form of support that helps you prepare for labour, birth, and the early days of parenting. Unlike medical care, which focuses on your physical health, birth coaching centres on your emotional wellbeing, your mindset, and your ability to make informed choices.
It combines:
Education – understanding your options, your rights, and how the system works.
Emotional support – exploring your hopes, fears, and vision for birth in a safe space.
Practical tools – breathing, relaxation, partner strategies, and advocacy skills.
In Australia, around 1 in 3 women report experiencing birth trauma. At Afterglow, we want to shift that number by helping women better understand their bodies, their choices, and their power.
With the right preparation and support, you can walk into birth feeling informed, connected to your intuition, and ready to navigate whatever path your story takes.
A birth coach doesn’t tell you how to give birth. Instead, they walk beside you, helping you feel prepared, confident, and supported through this life-changing transition.
-
Birth is not just about the arrival of your baby—it’s also the birth of you as a mother. My role as your birth coach is to walk beside you as you prepare for this transformation, offering a safe space to explore your options, your instincts, and your unique vision for birth.
Together, we will:
Clarify your birth preferences so you feel confident making decisions that reflect your values.
Explore comfort measures including breathwork, relaxation, mindset shifts, and partner involvement.
Prepare emotionally and mentally for the uncertainty of birth, building tools to manage fear and connect to your intuition.
Navigate the system by understanding your choices and how to advocate for them with care providers.
Support your partner to feel included, prepared, and confident in their role.
Birth Education & Informed Decision-Making
As your due date approaches and the medical system naturally becomes more involved, I help you understand your rights, options, and the evidence behind common interventions. We’ll work through what truly matters to you in your birth plan, and how to adapt if things change in the moment. This means:
Learning how to ask the right questions (“Do I need this? What are my options? What happens if we wait?”).
Building confidence to make decisions in real time, from a place of clarity—not fear or pressure.
Knowing when and how to use your voice so you stay at the centre of your birth experience.
Birth coaching is about empowering you with knowledge, self-trust, and practical tools, so you enter labour feeling supported and strong, no matter how your story unfolds.
You deserve to feel seen, held, and respected as you step into this sacred transition.

Labour & Birth
-
Your birth is a sacred event one that deserves to be honoured and supported with care. As your Doula, I walk alongside you and your birthing partner with unwavering emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labour, and birth. For birth to unfold as it physiologically should, a birthing woman must feel safe to surrender to herself, her baby and her body emotionally and physically. Having a Doula protects the birthing couple so they can focus on the labour and birth.
I am here to help you prepare, to hold your vision and preferences, to remind you of your strength when it feels far away, and to create a sense of calm and safety in the birth space. My role is not to replace your care providers or your birthing partner, but to work alongside them weaving together knowledge, comfort measures, advocacy and presence so you feel deeply supported in every moment.
Whether your birth unfolds at home, in hospital, or anywhere in between, I am there to help you feel seen, heard, and held.
-
Quality over quantity is important to me, I support a small number of births each year to allow me to give dedicated care to each special Mama.

Miscarriage Support
-
Experiencing a miscarriage is one of the most heartbreaking and isolating times in a woman’s life. It is not just a physical event, it touches every part of you, your body, your emotions, your reltationships, and your sense of self.
Many women feel expected to ‘move on’ quickly, but groed and recovery take time, tenderness and support.
With 1 in 4 pregnancies ending in miscarriage I felt called to create a space for women to feel seen, safe and heard in their experiences. When I experienced my own miscarriage, I had so many questions, so many feelings but I didn’t know where or who I could get information and support from.
This package is designed to hold you during and after loss. With compassionate non-judgemental care, I walk alongside you as you navigate the emotions, physical recovery and spiritual aspects of miscarriage. Together we create a space for your grief, honour your experience and support your healing in a way that feels right for you.
Having support at this time is important because:
There is limited support from current medical systems
Often miscarriage happens before the pregnancy has been annouced
Miscarriage can feel invisible or minimised by others, but your experience deserves to be acknowledged and witnessed
Your body and emotions both need care, you need practical help as wwell as holding space for your grief and processing
Giref is complex, having someone who understands the layers of pregnancy loss can help you feel less overwhlemed
Ritual and reflection matter, together we can create small but meaningful practices to honour your baby, your body and your journey
Processing whether it be at the time of miscarriage or after is an important part of the process, having guided support can help you make sense and find peace with your experience

Birth Debrief
-
Your birth story matters. Whether your experience felt empowering, challenging, or a mixture of both, taking the time to reflect on your journey is an important part of healing and moving forward.
A birth debrief gives you a safe, supportive space to share your story, ask questions, and be truly heard. So often, parents leave their birth with unanswered questions or emotions they’ve had to push aside. Talking it through can:
Bring clarity to what happened and why
Validate your feelings and remind you they are real and worthy
Ease lingering stress or disappointment and prevent trauma from taking hold
Help partners understand each other’s perspectives
Allow you to honour and integrate your experience as part of your motherhood journey
When you give your story space, you give yourself permission to heal, to feel lighter, and to carry forward with more confidence.
At Afterglow Mother Collective, we see birth debriefs as a powerful step in matrescence — the transition into motherhood. They’re not about rewriting the past, but about helping you feel whole, supported, and ready for what comes next.
-
A birth debrief is a gentle, supportive conversation designed just for you. It’s not about medical advice or judgment — it’s about creating space for your story.
Here’s what you can expect:
A safe, calm environment — where you can share as much or as little as feels right.
Time to tell your birth story — uninterrupted and at your own pace.
Gentle reflection and questions — to help you make sense of what happened and why.
Emotional support — validation of your feelings, whether they’re joy, grief, pride, or disappointment.
Partner or family involvement (if you choose) — so everyone’s perspective can be heard and understood.
Practical tools and resources — to support your ongoing healing and confidence as you move forward.
Every debrief is unique, because every birth is unique. Sometimes it’s a chance to celebrate, sometimes it’s about releasing heavy emotions, and often it’s a mixture of both.
At Afterglow Mother Collective, our role is to listen deeply, hold space with compassion, and walk beside you as you integrate your birth story into your motherhood journey.
-
A birth debrief is an investment in your healing and peace of mind.
1 × 1 hour session $150 face to face or online.
This session is not simply a conversation — it’s a safe, supported space to process your birth, honour your story, and step forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Your investment reflects:
Dedicated time to be truly heard and validated
Gentle guidance to help you make sense of what happened
Emotional support to release any heavy feelings you’ve been carrying
Resources and follow-up care to support your ongoing journey
This isn’t about changing the past, but about giving yourself the gift of understanding and integration — so you can carry your story with softness and strength.
Because your birth experience matters, and so do you.

AFTERGLOW COLLECTIVE
MEETING WITH INTENTION
Afterglow Collective brings together the community — a space where women and mothers gather with intention. Each gathering is created to nourish, ground, and connect you, whether you join us for a women’s circle, a mothers’ circle, a workshop, or a retreat.
Our sessions weave together ritual, reflection, and conversation. We begin with gentle grounding practices, move into guided themes that speak to womanhood and motherhood, and close with nurturing connection — through meditation, journaling, or simply being witnessed in your truth.
No two gatherings are the same, but every Afterglow Collective experience offers space to slow down, honour your journey, and feel the strength of community.
women’s circles
Each circle has a unique theme designed to help you reflect, reconnect, and feel gently guided through your journey. We currently host a series of circles on an ad hoc basis — click BOOK below to see when the next circle is or message us to find out what we have planned next and to join the waitlist
We also host private and specific circles — whether for a group of friends, a blessingway, or a special milestone. Please contact us if you’d like us to hold a circle just for you.
“I didn’t do any planning for my first birth, I thought going with the flow was the best way to go, but it wasn’t! It was important to my Husband and me that we took the time to make this birth a better experience. We chose to work with Afterglow and Becky because we wanted to work through the previous experience and let it go before the birth of our next baby and I am so glad we did - thank you!”
Cassie and Family - Afterglow Birth Coaching & Matrescence Mama
“I was overwhlemed with the thought of having to prepare for labour and birth. Working with Afterglow was a way for me to let go of the responsibility of it being my job to work it out, we did it together”
Michelle and Brett - Afterglow Birth Coaching Mama
“I loved how holistic the approach to birth and Motherhood was. It wasn’t just information — it was emotional preparation, practical tools, and a safe place to talk openly. I went into my birth feeling empowered and my postpartum feeling prepared and confident which really set our family up.”
Kathy - Afterglow Birth & Postnatal Mama
“The coaching sessions with Becky were amazing. My partner and I felt so confident going into our birth. She gave us practical tools, but also reassurance that we could do this together.”
Laura - Afterglow Birth Coaching Mama
“After my birth I felt overwhelmed and anxious. I didn’t realise how much my birth experience was impacting my experience of Motherhood. My birth wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t what I wanted, it wasn’t aligned with me. Talking with Becky gave me clarity and made me feel lighter. She explained things in a way my care providers never did and made me feel truly heard. It has been such an important part of my journey.”
